This made me smile... and shake my head.

Today, one of my summer school students came in with a trophy. Typically, the students in summer school for credit recovery aren't the type that engage in extracurricular activities. So, when this precious boy came in with a basketball trophy, I was elated. I asked him if it was his trophy--trying not to sound too shocked. He confirmed that it was. I told him I was very proud of him. And I asked him what he did to win it...

"I stole it from the trophy case."
